Baseball down the street
By the way, the weather’s great today.

Get off the computer and go outside.

Maybe catch a ballgame.  Major League, Minor League, College, High School, or just down the block for Little League practice.

And the Online Entry Form is LIVE.  Big thanks to The Domer for getting the page up and running.

  • Profiles for Player Groups A,  B,  C, and D are out there.  Not every player in Group E will be profiled.

  • Big thanks to everyone who has been spreading the word about the site.  We had record hits yesterday.  The more you help forward the details - the more people can join up - the more people join up - the bigger the prizes.

  • Also, please feel free to let us know what you would like to see on the site.  More profiles, stats, news, anything.  I’ve got a couple things in the works, but I’m open to suggestions.

It’s only a matter of time until the ultimate one-sided HomerDerby debate starts back up …

clint-barmes.jpg  I had a great April/May 2005.  I was the best Shortstop in Major League Baseball.  I was gonna be the NL Rookie of the Year.

Welcome to HomerDerby.com, the site of everyone’s favorite Home Run Derby.

Watch the site over the next 52 days as we get closer to Spring Training and ultimately Opening Day on Monday, April 2, 2007.

The official HRD Rules and the 2007 Home Run Derby Player Groups are up. Most of them are linked to Sportsline’s player pages so you can do some fabulous research before submitting your picks. I’m working on the Online Entry Form - with any luck, we’ll be good to go before the season begins.

If you want to post a comment, you will have to register.
