Did anyone else get a strong “Mexicans are bound to get drunk and either fight each other or run away” from that commerical?

In Canada, there are two main beer rivals. They established colors as a brand (LaBatt Blue). I forget the names of both companies (is one LaBatt itself?) but one is red and one is blue. Back in the day, the Blue jays were owned by the Blue company. Since then the teams has changed hands and is now owned by the red company. Seeing as how familiar the essential “gang colors” are, the new owners are doing everything they can to rid the team of the color blue. That is why the mascot/uniforms have VERY little blue in them. They even dont want the word “BLUE” associated with the team, hence the uniforms just saying “Jays”

Exactly. If that’s not the Mets’ mascot it should be.

That must mean he’s getting laid while Fredbird is a “solo” act.

Both mascots seem pretty lame, but I’m going with the Cardinal because the Jays are constantly licking my Red Sox’s boots and Ace got out-danced by that fat bastard O’s fan in his own house.

If you’re a mascot and you see a walking heart attack who roots for the other team who’s causing more of a stir than you are in your own stadium, it’s time to retire.
