We’ve posted Boston Red Sox fans doing silly things here at Home Run Derby.
But we’re equal opportunity snarks here at HRD – there must be other fans to ridicule …
Let’s stay in the AL East, but go South to Baltimore … they gotta have some crazy fans too.
Specifically this big Baltimore fan … and I mean BIG.
First off – I’ve never seen a jersey worn backwards under another jersey under a jacket. Heck, I’ve never seen anyone wear a Baltimore Orioles #53 Todd Williams jersey in the first place. They sell those?
Later at the game, the jacket and jersey come off to reveal an Erik Bedard jersey. And then that comes off to reveal a black Orioles T-Shirt. I think you know where this is going …
Some people just shouldn’t take their shirts off. Especially at a Ballgame.
Is it just me, or does that guy look a hell of a lot like Peter Griffin from Family Guy?

Oh God, I live in the same city as that fat bastard. I do like the Family Guy reference, but I must say that he also bears a striking resemblance to Ralphie May and it also could be Aaron, the Man Show boy, all grown up.

That guy might live in your city, but from the looks of it that video took place in my city, Toronto, specifically at the Rogers Centre/Skydome.

Chances are he may be from Naveen, Ont., home of Erik Bedard.
Bedard jerseys are hard enough to come by in Baltimore, let alone Toronto.

A few things…..
A) This is indeed at Rogers Centre in Toronto.
B) This is his typical routine at the game, but you left out the best part! He will yell out “Hi (insert player name)’ to all the Orioles until they turn around and wave to him. I’ve seen him do it to the entire team and not stop until literally all of them (includng catcher) waved at him in his right field seats.
C) He is also a Jays fan, but for some reason he has a huge thing for the Orioles. I can’t remember where I heard it and can’t confirm its true, but I heard that once a guy in their bullpen got so annoyed with him (his seats are always right behind the opposition bullpen in T.O.) that he threw a cup of water at him. Anyways, he felt really bad after (probably because the guy is also mentally handicapped a little) and gave him all the orioles swag and a meet and greet. So now i think its a running gag with the bullpen to treat him really well because throughout the game they will throw him up bags of sunflower seeds and gatorades and stuff if he asks.
