Just got back from San Fran and had the absolute joy of consuming the San Francisco dog mentioned above. First things first, hot dogs don’t cost 6.75 at AT&T park. I believe they were 4.50. The picture above is from the Hebrew National Hot Dog Stand. The hot dogs are friggin huge and kosher (not made from lips and aholes). The San Francisco dog mentioned was delicious and a meal in itself.

This probably has no relation to what is being talked about but the dogs at Minute Maid Park are around $5.00 a pop. Of course that might be the super special extra long star dog (or whatever its called). Problem is I can never find the regular length dogs which are cheaper. Apparently they don’t make them then tell you’re they’re out so you have to spend the extra change on an extra long dog that taste like crap anyways.

Next time I’m going to the BBQ joint in the stadium.

Actually a San Francisco hot dog consists of two hots dogs that are touching one another at the tip.

Heck, I’m from Chicago. But having been brought up to eat everything on my plate, and being naturally curious, I’d try a SWISH Cheese San Fran. dog. EXCEPT not for $6.75. They could cut the prices of food by cutting the salaries of overpaid ballplayers. Maybe that’s where Obama should start looking into next.

Phillies have Dollar Dog nights. People compete to see who can eat the most.

It is usually held for every College Discount night as well. Those nights college ID gets you a cheapie for about $12 a seat or so.

The ridiculous prices do look right for Pac Bell Park, though.
