Bobby Estalella is gonna rat out Barry Bonds
Posted by: Richie Rich in Barry Bonds, Baseball Law, Giants, SteroidsSo – we have news about the Case against Barry Bonds. And this will be the end of Barry Bonds.
Apparently, the Feds will be subpoenaing former ballplayer Bobby Estalella to testify against Bonds in early March. And he’s gonna spill.

Now seriously … does Bobby Estalella look like a man who would know anything about performance enhancing drugs?
Estalella was a teammate of Bonds when he played in San Francisco in 2000 and 2001. He was also named in the Mitchell Report (he was one of those names you passed over while looking for Clemens, Bonds, McGwire, etc) as one of the ballplayers that Greg Anderson (Bonds’ trainer) supplied with Human Growth Hormone.
Estalella appeared before a Grand Jury in the BALCO case a few years back and admitted to using performance enhancing substances (reportedly: The Cream, The Clear, HGH and Clomid – a female fertility drug).
Here’s Estalella covering up outside of the courthouse.

The Clomid might explain the purse. Louis Vuitton?
Estalella originally refused to talk to George Mitchell.
The Los Angeles Dodgers’ scouting department observed that Estalella “was a poster boy for the chemicals.”

Nooo. Reallly?

If they are going to start telling who uses drugs on baseball, maybe we will have some teams with 2 or 3 players at most.
