NunchakuJapan has given the world some pretty good baseball players …

Ichiro, Wally Kaname Yonamine, Hideki Matsui, Kosuke Fukudome (jury’s still out) and the legendary Sadaharu Oh (and his World Record 868 Home Runs – suck it Barry) come to mind.

But none of them did anything as cool as this guy …

Watch as this martial arts master shows some incredible baseball skill by hitting a baseball with a pair of nunchaku.

TMNT Michelangelo“Aw, a fellow chucker, eh?”

Michelangelo from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles would be so proud.

I’m not sure how fast the pitching machine is slinging those balls, but I’m impressed.

He fouls a few of those balls back and to the side, but keep in mind a baseball bat is nearly 3 times the size of a nunchaku stick (approximately 1-1.5 inches thick). And the contact stick moves so quickly – it’s basically unseen to the batter/chucker.

I tried using nunchucks once … once.  That didn’t turn out very well.
