Nasty Boy Brian Knobbs got thrown out of Fenway
Posted by: Richie Rich in 2008 MLB Playoffs, Beer, Drunken Fans, Rays, Red SoxLast Night, during Game Five of the 2008 ALCS between the Rays and Red Sox, former professional wrestler Brian Knobbs got his Blue Rayhawk kicked out of Fenway Park.

I haven’t yet seen the official Red Sox reason as to why Knobbs was booted from Fenway, but I would imagine it would have to be something along the lines of being a belligerent, drunken loudmouth.
Knobbs was once part of the Wrestling Tag Team Known as “The Nasty Boys.” Now’s he’s more recognizable as being Hulk Hogan’s best friend on the VH1 Reality TV Show Hogan Knows Best and occasionally Brooke Knows Best. Scratch that – he’s known as the fat obnoxious drunk guy always hanging around Hogan.
Here he is before the game … claiming to be the “Original Rayhawk” … prepare to be yelled at.
More pics after the jump …
Only a Pro Wrestler would wear a shirt with his own picture on it.

On his way out, Knobbs had one last chance to jaw with a Red Sox fan in the tunnel … so he took it.

Knobbs is no newcomer to the Rays. He was a Devil Rays fan for years and would occasionally do promos for the Rays on the Jumbotron. Here’s Knobbs being interviewed during a Rays-Yankees game earlier this season.
Why a pro baseball team would ever affiliate themselves with that guy … I have no idea.

I was there, sitting one row behind this idiot. The reason he got ejected was that he was too drunk to stand, fell on my 100 lb little sister, and then when his wasted high-heeled wife tried to get back to her seat, she hit my girlfriend, who was standing to watch the game. I agree, there is no reason I can think of that the Rays should affiliate themselves with this idiot.
Honestly, you know something is wrong when you have to attend a baseball game with your attorney (the guy with the long grey hair in the background of that youtube video). He kept giving his card to the cops as they escorted this drunk moron out.

To be fair, the Red Sox have affiliated with Jimmy Fallon.

Hobbs was on Sirius sports radio this morning. While stupid, he was funny, and he made Red Sox fans sound like a bunch of d*cks. I have also noticed some assholiness in the transplants we have here in SD.
Sucks the Boston cops made him leave. Hobbs claims the cops said themselves it was because the Red Sox fans were getting to crazy, not because Hobbs did anything in particular to get kicked out (notice he didn’t get arrested). if Hobbs had done something like throw beer etc, he would have left in handcuffs. Sox fans just couldn’t stand to be losing.
IMO, Boston spots fans have gotten enough championships for another 50 years. They are not as violent as raider fans, but they definitely have superiority complex issues.

We Boston sports fans take great offense to that last post, we are just as violent as Raiders fans….

I had three excited Red Sox fans sitting within 3 rows of me during game 2 at the Trop. One guy was a good fan. Every time the Sox scored he jumped out of his seat and cheered his team. When he play was over he sat down.
The other two were idiots. Like the aforementioned fan, these two would also get excited when their team did something good, but both guys would remain standing after the play ended so they could look around at Rays fans as if THEY had accomplished something special.
I’ve watched opposing fans from every team since the Rays began play in 1998 and I can say without question that there are far more inconsiderate Red Sox fans than fans from any other team.
As for Knobbs? He is what he is. A pro wrestler looking to be recognized. He’s a Rays fan but he’s also a Nasty Knobbs fan. Rays fans have learned to take his appearances at the Trop with a grain of salt.

I was in a Bill’s Bar, (www.billsbar.com) a pub on Lansdowne St prior to the game last night and MR Fat Nasty was already drunk & stupid. I’m surprised being loud, fat & drunk didn’t get his ass kicked before the National Anthem.
Sox fans showed great restraint listening to this idiot go on & on….his posse included his girl “Nasty Girl”, the lawyer (bad wig) and a few others….
How desperate for wrestlers were they when this guy was active?

I, too, was sitting near Knobbs. His behavior was loutish and annoying, but nothing more, for about 4 innings. At one point a Sox fan threw a beer in his face, prompting the gray-wigged lawyer to throw one back, but the Sox fan and Knobbs ultimately laughed it off. The problem came when Knobbs left for a while and returned near-passout drunk (he indeed fell on a girl in front of him and needed to be lifted off). His wife, who appeared drunk as well, ultimately got them kicked out, but either way it was time for Knobbs to go. Coincidentally (and not to inflate the dude’s neuron-depleted ego) the Sox rallied immediately after he left.

Is it OK to fall down on little girls in Tampa?I heard this pathetic clown on Bubba the Love Sponge and he was drinking at 10:00 in the morning upon returning to Tampa. He’s obviously a loud mouth coward white trash jackass who should have got treated a lot worse than he did.I’m astonished he didn’t get his ass handed to him–

Dean Vernon Wormer: Zero point two… Fat, drunk and stupid is no way to go through life, son. Mr. Hoover, president of Delta house? One point six; four C’s and an F. A fine example you set! Daniel Simpson Day… HAS no grade point average. All courses incomplete. Mr. Blu – MR. BLUTARSKY… ZERO POINT ZERO.

I apoligize to the baseball fans that had to endure a big fat loud mouth drunk. The last gig I did with Knobs he was in the same shape. “Look at me, no please please I need attention.” Two days after the gig with Brian, I called him. I gave him advise I had given to 3 other people in my life. They did not listen. THEY ARE DEAD,FACT. Knobs I hope this hits home with you. My offer stands, you need only to call and help will be on its way. But you have to want help.Knobs has a big heart and is worth reaching out to. He is just lost. I have 4 children,2 grandchildren and a wife of 26yrs.I know, after 37yrs in Pro Wrestling, I have been lost a few times myself. Knobs,I do not write this post for fame, as it does nothing for me. It was written to do something for you. I will pray for you and I answer all calls.I can only hope you are my first call.

Its not a wig it was an anti war protest. Now we have a president who is going to end the war so I cut my hair. The cops threw us out because they said it was for our own safty. They were very nice and we met them in Tampa at the next game(they traveled with the team.) Overall the people were great, just a few fans were not. It is a sport remember, just a game. Have fun this year!
