I believe the number is 30 and was intentional by the fan to express it as “Beer Thirty” The Nationals’ number font matches what would allow that to be a thirty and is barely obstructed by the other fans knee. Haven’t seen that one at Nats Park yet myself, but I’ll keep an eye out. Last year at RFK I saw the lamest jersey in history , a #24 with “JACK BAUER” across the back. It might have been marginally clever if he’d just put “BAUER,” but no. Doubly lame in that 24 is worn by Nick Johnson, on the three or four days a year he actually plays.

Well, it even MORE clever when you look at the number. It’s “BEER Thirty,” as in everyone’s favorite time of day.

‘Course, if I was a Nat’s fan, I’d want to be drunk when watching them play, too.
