So today is Easter, and it’s only the second time in the past nine years (2005) that Easter hasn’t fallen during the baseball season.
Sure, Spring Training games are going on … but that just doesn’t count.
Let’s check in with the Easter Bunny and see if he (or she) has a favorite MLB Team … turns out he’s partial to a lot of MLB Clubs.
Here he’s spending quality tme at Busch Stadium with some Cardinals fan named Scott …
Billy the Marlin of the Florida Marlins is one of the Bunny’s closest friends … Nice ears there Billy.
He’s also fans of the Angels and Brewers …
Retrospectively, I don’t think that Brewers Bunny looks very authentic – it must be just a cheesehead dressed up in the Miller Park parking lot. Let’s see if any other fans are impersonating the rabbit around the Majors …
Philadelphia and Boston fans have donned the ears …
Pittsburgh has an Easter Bunny … but the Phillies strike again.
There’s couple team whose Mascots are Rabbits. You’ve got the Yomiuri Giants, who have Giabbit …
While Houston has a rabbit mascot named Junction Jack. Why the hell do the Houston Astros have a rabbit for a mascot?
But the Atlanta Braves have the most Easter Bunnies per stadia of any team in the bigs … They like to drink too.
Happy Easter, everybody!

Nice job collecting those pictures! The angels one looks nice but the Phillies one…not the type you want hanging out with kids.

“While Houston has a rabbit mascot named Junction Jack. Why the hell do the Houston Astros have a rabbit for a mascot?”
That’s a damn good question.

The Astros have Junction Jack because he is a Texas jackrabbit.

the bottom picture with the guy pointing to the camera is my manager Mo who works at Sidebar in the middle of downtown atlanta. Also in the picture is John “Fluffy” (the really big bunny), Quickie, the bunny on the far right bottom, and Jose Navaro, the bunny standing next to Mo, the pointing bunny.
