Happy Halloween everybody!!

Since the Boston Red Sox are the reigning World Series Champions and they’re very well represented by their own pumpkin carving fanbase - they get their own post.

Red Sox 3rd Baseman (and World Series MVP) Mike Lowell. This is really impressive work.  This will make him want to stay in Boston.

David Ortiz - Not to be outdone, here’s un grande Calabaza of Big Papi.

Johnny Damon - since joining the Yankees, his nickname to Red Sox fans is Johnny Demon.  Which is why his 2004 Jack O’Lantern is on this page.  That pumpkin would be smashed in a heartbeat in Boston nowadays.

But by far the best of the Red Sox Pumpkin Personifications might be this year’s action shot of Manny Ramirez from Game Four of the 2007 ALCS against the Cleveland Indians

Fans in Beantown can sure carve up a pumpkin …

And even the Red Sox’ mascot, Wally the Green Monster, gets temporarily immortalized on a pumpkin.
