Oh heck yeah.

Curtis Granderson is now my favorite Detroit Tiger. And considering I’ve never been a big fan of the Tigers, he has become my favorite Tiger ever.

Why?

Because at the beginning of August, I chose Curtis Granderson in Bugs and Cranks‘ Indoor Four contest.

You know, the contest where you choose a player who you think might be able to pull off an Inside-the-Park Home Run before any other player selected does it that month.

On Sunday against the Yankees, the fleet-footed Granderson - who leads the Majors in triples (21) - finally stretched one out for an extra 90 feet … and brought me home a $75 Best Buy Gift Card.
